The Metro B Line subway is one of the easiest ways to reach the ceremony.

The station is directly beneath Ovation Hollywood, approximately a short walk from 7011 Hollywood Boulevard.

From the station:

1. Exit at Hollywood/Highland.
2. Walk east along Hollywood Boulevard.
3. Continue toward the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel / 7011 Hollywood Boulevard.
4. Follow event-day pedestrian directions and LAPD/Walk of Fame personnel.

The Metro B Line connects Hollywood with North Hollywood, Universal City, Hollywood/Vine, Hollywood/Western, and Downtown Los Angeles/Union Station.

Regular Metro fare: approximately $1.75 one way.
Metro accepts TAP, credit/debit cards, Apple Wallet and other approved payment methods.

Metro Line 212 — Hawthorne/Lennox Station → Hollywood/Highland. Particularly useful for passengers coming from the south/west side of Los Angeles.

Metro Line 217 — Serves Hollywood Boulevard and connects the Hollywood area with destinations including Fairfax and La Cienega/Jefferson.

Metro Line 222 — Provides service through the Hollywood area, including the Hollywood/Highland vicinity.

Metro Line 2 — Operates along Sunset Boulevard and provides connections into Hollywood.

Metro Line 180 / 181 / 182 — Additional connections between Hollywood and communities to the east/northeast, including Los Feliz and Pasadena-area destinations.

The LADOT DASH Hollywood bus is another inexpensive option for getting around Hollywood.

DASH Hollywood operates through the Hollywood area, including stops at:

There are metered street parking spaces throughout Hollywood. Most meters take coins and credit/debit cards. Be sure to read posted signs before parking.

You may potentially find free street parking in select neighborhoods throughout Hollywood. Most neighborhoods have permit-based parking. Be sure to read posted signs before parking.

Uber and Lyft can be convenient, but Hollywood Boulevard may have restricted drop-off and pickup areas during the ceremony.

If Hollywood Boulevard is closed or restricted, drivers may be directed to a nearby side street.

Follow LAPD, event personnel and temporary traffic signs rather than attempting to drive directly to the star location.
